"Having a theatre education from FALA frankly put me way ahead of the game as I started college in New York. Being an actor in a FALA production means creating characters and making strong choices without being told every step of the way what to do. We as young actors were treated as professionals, and we learned to stage productions with dramatic intent instead of just the director's notes. I became more than just a director's prop; I became an independent and collaboratively-minded theatre artist, which has helped me tremendously in post-academia theatre life. "

-Sarah Tupper Daniels, Class of 2010
