Heather Giovale has been involved in FALA’s advanced acting program for 3 years now and is ecstatic to experience whatever crazy art the year 2017-2018 holds. Over the last few years, Heather has been seen in shows including: FALA’s production of Columbinus as Stoner (2016), one of the witches in FALA’s production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth (2016), and, as Anna in FALA’s production of On Austrian Soil (2017). Besides theatre, Heather also performs as a dancer and aerialist. She has been training in the aerial arts for 6 years now and can usually be seen hanging off some building or rig, whether she is performing for an event, or just hanging out. She has been a member of Circus Bacchus for 4 years and hung upside for a variety of Bacchus's shows. These include: a Midsummer Night’s Circus, Nightmare on Aspen Street, and Nightmare on Aspen Street 2. Heather also enjoys writing and has collaborated with her Advanced Creative Writing class to adapt the book Salvaged Voices, Young Writers Diaries from the Holocaust, into a play. The end result was an amazingly heartbreaking show that she is proud to have created with her classmates and teacher. Heather would like to thank her family and amazing friends for always being supportive and fun. She would also like to thank Macy's coffee beans for providing the excessive amount of caffeine needed to move through life. And finally, to give a final shoutout to all the wonderful human beings that continue to make her life more colorful.
